Where size S fits
Short pieces that fit compact tabletop konro and shichirin grills. A practical choice for yakitori counters and small-format grilling where the fire bed is shallow.
Like all binchotan, it is slower to light than black charcoal. Start it in a chimney or over a gas burner until the surface glows, then move it to the grill. Unburnt pieces can be extinguished in a lidded pot and reused in the next service.
