Report of Analysis by Sucofindo laboratory, Surabaya (KAN-accredited), dated 27 July 2026, test method ASTM D1762-84. A second Sucofindo report dated 6 July 2026 measured 95.06 % fixed carbon, 1.27 % ash and 7,950 kcal/kg on a dry basis. Results apply to the samples tested; a copy of the report is available on request.
Where size M fits
The all-round size for restaurant kitchens. It suits yakiniku, izakaya and general charcoal grills, and is easy to arrange in an even fire bed.
Like all binchotan, it is slower to light than black charcoal. Start it in a chimney or over a gas burner until the surface glows, then move it to the grill. Unburnt pieces can be extinguished in a lidded pot and reused in the next service.
